High Voltage Lead Wire

Wires-High Voltage Lead Wire
High-voltage lead copper or aluminum round wire is a winding wire using an oxygen-free copper rod or electrical round aluminum rod under extrusion by requested specification mold or dawning and annealing procedure and then wrapped with 24 or 36 layers insulated paper on the copper or aluminum conductor. The product is widely used in oil-immersed transformers and other similar electrical instruments.

1.Standard:GB7673-2008(IEC60371)and Enterprise Standards

2.Production Range:

High-voltage lead copper round wire

Size:2.0mm-8.0mm

High-voltage down-lead aluminur round wire

Size:2.0mm-8.0mm

3. Resistivity
In temperature of 20 ℃, the resistivity of copper rectangular wire is no more than 0.017241 Ω m²/m, and the resistivity of aluminum rectangular wire is no more than 0.02801 Ω m²/m.
4. The size of conductor should conform to the table as follows:
The diameter of the conductorDeviation(mm)
d±10%

5. Insulation thickness

The wrapping layersInsulation thicknessDeviation(mm)
244mm±10%
366mm±10%

6. Maximum external size

Maximum external size should not exceed the sum of the maximum size of the conductor and maximum insulation thickness.

Note: The structure of paper-wrapped copper (aluminum) rectangular wire should conform to the agreement between the supplier and customer. For example, the layers of insulation paper, method of wrapping, insulation thickness, and so on. The surface of the conductor should not have any copper powder or other impurities. Each layer of the insulation paper should be continuous, firm, and wrinkle-free, it should not have any joint points and bonding material except for the end of the insulation paper.
